About the event
Join us for the first annual NCAGT Parent Morning in conjunction with the 51st Annual Conference. The North Carolina Association for the Gifted and Talented is the premier organization supporting gifted and talented learners through their teachers, administrators, and parents. This new event for parents and guardians is sure to educate, inspire, and build community for parents who are often discouraged from feeling pride in their children's accomplishments, confused about developmental differences, or seeking additional resources to support their child.
Our keynote speaker for the morning will be Dr. Emily King, a child psychologist and consultant with over 20 years of experience.
In addition to Dr. King's address, attendees will have the opportunity to attend sessions to help them empower their children, navigate IEPs & DEPs, manage all of the things that go along with having a gifted child, & more!
Through the Looking Glass is meant to empower, educate,…
